Writing Styles
Following the consultative interview, we tailor audience messaging with energy and tone appropriate for an engaged reading experience.
Style examples include:
Fundraising Correspondence
Written with a spirit of appreciation and gentile urgency, effective fundraising language creates an emotional bond with donors. It connects support to community wellness, stability, and opportunity. Fundraising correspondence describes financial need and ways donors can get involved – be it volunteer time, standard donations, auction items, in-kind contributions, and longer-term sponsorship. Perhaps Write also drafts both stock and customized “thank you” letters to an organization’s support base.
Governance Documents
These concern the internal business of an organization such as reflected in bylaws, policy, and representative leadership direction. Perhaps Write does not provide accounting, financial, or legal services but can update existing documents with text approved for such purposes as a matter of record. Meeting attendance may be required to take notes. We recognize confidentiality and discretion are paramount.
Newsletters
A regular digest of community happenings and announcements. Perhaps Write will coordinate with an organization’s internal contacts to develop an outline template and method of information sharing. The text will be prepared and sent back to the contacts to add graphics and imagery. The organization will then distribute via web posting or document download.
